The New Business Acceleration Team (NBAT) launched in 2010 to help businesses navigate City requirements and open their doors more quickly and easily. Created through a partnership between Council Speaker Quinn and Mayor Bloomberg, NBAT has helped nearly 600 restaurants shave an average of 75 days off the time to open.

Next, NBAT will expand its services to the retail industry. Tell us what it was like to open your store and we’ll use your input to help NBAT help retail businesses.

Retailers and owners of storefront service businesses, such as dry cleaners, barber shops, and salons, are encouraged to complete the NYC Retail Survey by March 2, 2012. Your input will help us better serve the retail businesses of New York City.
